ARTIST STATEMENT:
"My representational work has almost always reflected my surroundings. Although I was raised in Norfolk and spent most of my time in that city, I always seem to return to the rural landscape and marshes, particularly around the Chesapeake Bay region where I have spent my life. Perhaps the most important part of what I do is to share with others the sense of peace and wonder that results from being in the natural environment."
